Shiatsu, Acupressure and Acupuncture
All 3 of these treatment modalities were developed in the East and have the same roots; Shiatsu, in fact, includes Acupressure but is a much broader therapy. Like Acupuncture, Shiatsu works to stimulate and balance the body's energy flows, though without using needles. Shiatsu also incorporates stretches and very gentle joint manipulations.
